Product Description: Calcium Fluoride (CaF2) Plano Convex (PCX) Lenses are plano-convex lens products based on calcium fluoride. Calcium fluoride material has a relatively wide transmission spectral range (180nm-8.0μm), high damage threshold, low fluorescence, high uniformity and other characteristics, soft physical properties, easy to scratch the surface, often used in lasers. Collimation is also often used as a substrate for various optical components. A calcium fluoride plano-convex lens will focus light into a point. Its characteristic is that the focal length is positive, one side is flat, and the other side is convex. Commonly used for aiming and focusing of monochromatic light sources.
